8th Annual Crosbyton Pig Out — Recap

Thank you for a great 8th Annual Crosbyton Pig Out! The legendary event returned to Crosbyton on May 1–2, 2026 for another incredible round of hard hunting, heavy weights, and community camaraderie. Whether teams were running thermals, calling coyotes, or chasing pigs all night—West Texas hunters showed up to prove their skills.

This highly anticipated event brought together teams of hunters to compete for the heaviest hog and coyote combo.

Event Details

• Entry Fee: $300 per team (1–4 hunters)
• Check-in: May 1, 2026 at 6:00 PM
• Weigh-in: May 2, 2026 at 12:00 PM (Lunch was provided!)
• Main Pot: Heaviest hog + coyote combo

Prizes & Side Pots

Big payouts and multiple side pots were on the line! Side pots were available for $50 per category (must have entered the main pot to participate). In addition to competition payouts, fantastic raffle prizes were loaded up by the generous event sponsors.

Supporting the Community

Every dollar raised after payouts goes directly to the Ericson Pioneer Farm & Ranch Museum, helping preserve local Crosby County history while celebrating the outdoor traditions of West Texas.
